International

Collaboration

Two collaborative efforts have seen REA students share their knowledge and experiences with students from across the globe, using collaborative technologies to exchange ideas, enhance project development and be part of a unique international community.

REA and Université de Versailles, Paris France

In 2008, Team Pitomia from France won the Best Newcomer Award at the World Championship. REA has been working with the Université de Versailles in Paris, assisting with implementation of the REA model to several disadvantaged Parisian schools.

Noosa, NSW Australia and Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada

Students from Noosa District State High School, NSW and Miles MacDonnell Collegiate, Manitoba enjoyed a challenging and rewarding collaborative effort to form a team, fulfil the competition guidelines and compete at the 2009 World Championships. Working together with a distance of nearly 14,000km between them, the veteran Noosa team have helped guide, support and mentor the apprentice team from Winnipeg in their quest to present an award winning entry by using collaborative technologies to compete at international standards.
