SIDC F1inSchools 2008 State and National Finals Dates Announced

It's nearing that time of the year again where the months of hard work are exhibited, justified, raced, and held up to scrutiny by the judges at the SIDC (Schools Innovation Design Challenge) F1inSchools State Finals. The winners, two talented teams from each state and territory, will earn the right to compete in the National Finals in Canberra, with the outright winners taking on the world at the F1inSchools International Finals.

State Finals

SA Adelaide – 16 September
WA Perth – 19 September
TAS Launceston – 2-3 October
VIC Melbourne – 9-10 October
NSW Mt Druitt – 20-21 October
QLD Brisbane – 23-24 October
ACT Canberra – 30-31 October

National Finals

ACT Canberra – 24-26* November

*Presentation Night to be held in the Great Hall in Parliament House
