Skills & Thrills

Skills & Thrills is an initiative of Re-Engineering Australia Foundation to map and link exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math outreach programs with the National Curriculum, Careers and Industry.

Skills & Thrills will provide Education, Industry sectors, and the broader community with a matrix of accredited 'action learning' programs, that are:

• Mapped against National Curriculum outcomes, aiming to engage young people in science and math learning, through exciting Engineering Action Learning activities.
• Certified programs raising awareness about learning pathways and related careers, through post secondary education links and industry mentoring partnerships.
• Fun! Applied learning leads students to see relevancy and the importance of science and math through connection to skills and real world activities.

Skills & Thrills will provide a Government and Industry endorsed set of criteria that existing or new outreach programs can be bench marked against.

This initiative will provide many benefits for students, parents, teachers, schools, industry and for the outreach programs themselves.
